probably. a legend like Undertaker wont go without a speech
First of all, I hope hes DOES NOT retire for a long time, but when he does I think he will make a ‘fair well speech’.
Yes he will.
If I was Mark Calaway and I knew Vince would do nothing to me I would break kayfabe when the time calls for it and I see Mark doing exactly that when he says his final goodbye to the WWE.
To be honest, I hope he doesn’t. To me, he should go out in silence so his career will echo. Right now, for HBK, I will always hear “Shawn Michaels has left the building,” which is fine for his character, but for Taker, I expect him to go out, say a few words, not get emotional, and leave and simply raise his fist in the air like he always does. Thats going out with respect from the fans and his peers. To me, i’d hate to see a guy like him cry and get emotional. I can’t really picture it. I mean, maybe one stream of tears, but I would imagine him still being all tough and not make it look like a big deal. At best, the thing I want to see is Taker come out, say thanks to the fans, and remain silent, then guys from the lockeroom and people of his past would come out, give their respect and talk about Taker careers. That way, it would be respectful, Taker would keep his character for the fans, and it would be emotional too for the fans. But I believe Taker should “try” to not break character.
If taker stays as the the phenom then I dont see him breaking character when it comes to retiring, which I think is very soon.
If he comes back with the American Bad Ass gimmick one last time, then yes I can see him giving a speech for us to remember him by. The man is a legend no doubt, boring at times yes, but still a legend. I honestly see one more mania in him, and then he will hang out his coat.
he will because he talks now.and hes been around sinse the 80s , and is the only surviving wrestler still active every week sinse the 80s on wwe prime time shows.
He ows it to the fans and himself
Yes a expect the Undertaker to, not in normal language though probaly in his own dark demonic way that the crowd will blow the roof off about.
Hay, you of all people know, just what Taker has done for WWE. I’ll keep it short, Taker is SD (Smacdown). Forget The Rock. Its Takers show. He will make a speech like HBK, and it will be on RAW. Hell yeah he deserves it! Also i think that’s when HBK should come back, to show his respect to Taker. You know, make a appearance and “tip his hat” to Taker(Likewise). A memory that would last for ever! All in all, Taker has benn there forever, someone whom I’ll never forget. He defiantly deserves to break kayfabe, and give us all a great farewell. So I can cry, just like i did when HBK gave his. I know you might not know it, but HBK and Taker is on a high level. Well i guess not that short.
I want him to say maybe a few words about his career the night after he retires then the gong sounds and all is dark and when the lights turn back on Undertaker disappears….
No, sadly i don’t, because if The Undertaker ever gave a farewell speech it would be emotional, and The Undertaker and emotional do not go together. I just can’t imagine Undertaker giving the fans a farewell speech or a Hall of Fame speech even though he isn’t afraid of breaking kayfabe lately.
no. it would be hard on us all. i dont think the fans could handle seeing him cry!. the undertaker is tough as hell!. i don’t think he could handle retiring, but he wont get cry like shawn micheals did. your right, he has been breaking kayfabe lately. remember his ministry of darkness gimmick? he was talking more. i think the undertaker will probably have a tear in his eye, but wont get as emotional as shawn micheals did.he will give his speech though. i think the fans will show there respect and he will show his respect. it would be the proper thing to do if he gave us a nice speech. the undertaker has never been the one to connect with the crowd like shawn has, so i think he will keep it simple. did you have to get all heavy on me? its sad just thinking about him retiring.
